His motto is “Get Fit, Get Healthy, and Get Safe”, and today, A.J. Draven, one of the top Krav Maga practitioners and most recognized instructors in the world has launched the first of many self-defense and fitness tutorials for men and women to learn at home. Each week, a new Krav Maga technique will be shared featuring various celebrities and social media influencers as well as high intensive interval workout sessions, nutritional recipes, fitness tips and more.
To kick off the series, Draven invited actress Debby Ryan and dancer/singer/actress Alyson Stoner to learn how to defend themselves from an attacker by learning a staple in self-defense, “Kick In The Groin.” Watch here
For men and women, the groin is one of the most vulnerable parts on the body and it will elicit a response regardless of the size and strength of an attacker. The front kick to the groin is an extremely effective way to strike someone. It tends to elicit some form of response, whether that is a knock-out or even a flinch. It is also very difficult to see coming, so it’s hard for the bad guy to defend. This kick can buy you the needed time to assess the situation and gain an advantage. In the end, whether the attacker is a man or woman, the groin area is very sensitive and if you strike it you are likely to do some serious damage.
