British guitar pop four-piece Club Drive have released a brand new video for their new single ‘International’.
The track cruises straight in with driving funk guitars and swaggering vocals. The accompanying video is a jet-setting escapade featuring the band playing in a hot purple lit bar, interspaced between shots captured in locations around the world, from scenic beaches to cityscapes, showing the limitless bounds of love in all its forms.
Lead singer Aaron Trowbridge says, “‘International’ is by far one of our favourite tracks we’ve written to date, it includes all the elements that make Club Drive who we are and brings out the slightly riffier side in us. The track is a reminder that no matter who you are or where in the world you might be, love is a language that everyone can understand – that life’s way too short to be uptight so don’t forget to enjoy it along the way.”
With ‘International’ Club Drive have delivered another slice of pop brilliance, following the singles ‘Spare Time’ and ‘Voyager’, which have enjoyed strong support from Radio 1 DJs including Alice Levine, Dey, Clara Amfo, Greg James, Scott Mills and Adele Roberts.
In keeping with the international flavour of the track, it has been added straight to Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’ playlist in France, and featured in the UK on leading playlists Radio Active Hot New Indie and Hollister’s Summer Vibes.
This summer the band have made high profile festival appearances on the main stages of Lovebox and Standon Calling, with Fusion and Wilkestock still to come, as they continue to cement themselves as one of the most exciting British pop bands of 2017.
