Galimatias Drops New Single “Blowback” Today

Denmark-born, Los Angeles-based artist Galimatias returns with new single Blowback available now on all digital retailers. Fusing impressionist piano chords, pulsating rhythms, and his R&B influenced vocals, the track also features a sample of Barbara Lewis’ 1963 hit “Hello Stranger.” Another introduction to his ever-developing sound, “Blowback” features Galimatias’ meticulous mastery of sound design with a fresh approach to vocal mixing.

He comments, “I was really excited to get permission from Barbara Lewis to sample her song as it’s one of my absolute favorites. With Blowback I tried to compliment the aesthetic of the original with my composition, not letting electronic elements overpower the intimacy of the song.”
