Fresh from the success of their recently released debut single ‘All I Wanna Know’ – which saw support across the board from the likes of Clash magazine praising their “off kilter melodies and crashing rhythms galore” Rock Sound, who featured the band on their ‘One The Radar’ pages, defining their sound as “synth driven alt-pop”.

Featuring Lynn Paighton on vocals, Jack Lawson on guitar, and Jamie Lowes on keys/synth, the London based three-piece bring a unique blend of rock, pop and indie to the table in fresh, exciting and innovative way CRITICS formed in the summer of 2014 and haven’t looked back.

Although they’ve only been together for a short time, the individual members of CRITICS have been working hard in the centre of the UK music industry for more than 10 years playing sold out headline club shows and support slots on arena tours years playing sold out headline club shows and support slots on arena tours. After all the highs and lows of these previous bands and projects, the members of CRITICS feel that they’re finally really onto what they’ve been searching for all this time.
