Fueled By Ramen band Vinyl Theatre released their new album Origami earlier this year that features the single “30 Seconds,” which is currently climbing at Alternative radio. Baeble premiered the video for “30 Seconds” yesterday noting, “The lyrics might induce an existential crisis, but the Two Door Cinema Club-esque music will have you feeling like you’re on cloud 9.”
The band told Baeble, “This is one of the most lyrically heavy songs we’ve written, but the music isn’t lost in the message. Existential crisis and the brevity of life is something so many of us go through and become far too aware of. We wanted to make a music video that could convey the importance of being here, now, and enjoying that brevity. Vinyl Theatre made an impact with 2014’s debut album, Electrogram topping Billboard’s “Next Big Sound” chart on the strength of its breakthrough single, “Breaking Up My Bones.” The track ascended to #2 on SiriusXM’s “alt 18” ranking while also being featured in Konami’s “Pro Evolution Soccer 2016” and EA Sports’ “NHL 16.” The band spent the last two years touring with Twenty One Pilots, Dashboard Confessional, Smallpools, The Mowgli’s and other alternative music staples. Vinyl Theatre will be opening forMisterwives on tour this fall, dates below.
