Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Doubleglazedgazeddown”?
It’s about being surrounded by tragedy but not letting that put you off your locally brewed IPA.
Did any event in particular inspire you to write this song?
A rose and crown.
How was the film experience?
Compiling and editing the images was very illuminating. It made me understand the song properly.
How was the recording and writing process?
I took the progression to your boy on the drums Nick S and we jammed it for a bit, then back to the laptop produced a demo which we then took to the studio to record the kit and broaden the sound a bit more with wurly, ambience, and a load of pedals.
What role does South London play in your writing?
A huge part. South soaks into you through a hazy sodium osmosis and pours out of everything you do. It’s grimey and green simultaneously, I could walk around it forever and only love it more.
Any plans to hit the road?
