Florist release “What I Wanted To Hold,” new album ‘If Blue Could Be Happiness’ out 9/29

Today, Florist have released “What I Wanted To Hold” and announced their upcoming album, If Blue Could Be Happiness, available for pre-order now and due out 9/29 via Double Double Whammy. Songwriter Emily Sprague says the song is “a contemplative journey mostly about impermanence and how important it is to recognize that as the dominant theme of life. It also deals with the melancholy of remembering and the little associations (colors) that we make to people and places so to hold on to these things that are either already gone, nearing an end, or just beginning.”
