PREMIERE: MELLOTT Release New Single “Shooting Stars”

MELLOTT (MEL-low) is an LA-based a pop-alternative duo whose songs deliver a dynamic mix of Chas Castell’s U.K. cool and Jessica Mellott’s Yankee liveliness. Drawing on their diverse musical tastes, Mellott find harmony in song-writing, with a great love of big hooks.

The first track we are excited to premiere today comes from their upcoming EP, “Shooting Stars” and is produced by Grammy-winner Robert Cutarella, known for his work with stars ranging from Sting to Cyndi Lauper. The song keeps the trademark the duo has been forging throughout their career with minimalistic beats, great hooks and awesome vocals.
