U.S. Navy Airman Emay Holmes Breaks Hearts With ‘So Good’

With today’s release of ‘So Good’’ Emay Holmes drops the eagerly anticipated follow up to his overnight sensation debut, ‘The Deployment Song’ (which amassed 4000 Soundcloud plays in its first 48 hours of release).

The native Houstonian is a serving airman on USS Nimitz; by day he helps launch F-18 jets from the flight deck and by night he crafts heart-wrenching soul music in the depths of the boat. He is currently on a six-month deployment at sea. As political tensions continue to fluctuate around the world, Emay’s music is a timely reminder of the human lives that play out the results of political conflict on a daily basis.

‘So Good’ (Prod. Ben Bandz) is the second release from Emay’s upcoming ‘Deep Down’ LP. It’s a sublime ballad that showcases Emay’s poetic lyrical approach and tender baritone.
