SIGRID debuts “Plot Twist” video via Noisey // “Don’t Kill My Vibe” EP out now

In the past five months, Sigrid has gone from unknown to the most exceptional breakout star of 2017. With a defining debut Glastonbury performance, ‘Don’t Kill My Vibe’ generating 40 million global streams and chart bound at Hot AC radio, Sigrid’s arrival has been nothing short of extraordinary. Today Sigrid drops a music video for another defiant anthem off of her debutDon’t Kill My Vibe EP called ‘Plot Twist’. The track features melodic highs and expansive production. Sigrid says: “Plot Twist is about finally getting over someone, but when me and Sigurd Fossen/William Glandberger from FillIn Productions discussed how we wanted the music video to be, we decided we wanted the focus to be on me having a good time with my best friends. We filmed it in Bergen where I’ve lived for two years now, and it was the best day!!”

From the tiny town of Ålesund in Norway, but with a colossal mind, attitude and voice, Sigrid has quietly been creating a world which emboldens her followers, displaying amazing song writing ability with hard-hitting and empowering words, laced over unexpected and daring melodies. Sigrid recently performed on The Late Late Show with James Corden – presented as Apple’s coveted ‘Up Next’ artist and plans to tour the US this Fall. More details to follow in the coming weeks.

Sigrid’s debut EP Don’t Kill My Vibe is out now on Island Records.
