Brick + Mortar Announce Summer Tour + New Single ‘Great Escape’ Out Now

Brick + Mortar will be hitting the road this summer in support of their recently released EP, Dropped Againfeaturing the new single Great Escape. The band describes the track: “We wanted to make a piece of music that felt cinematic and asked a very hard question, “Is humanity worth saving?” Great Escape is our attempt to convey that question.”

The EP, released on June 19th may not have seen the light of day despite Brick + Mortar being signed to a label. As the story goes, a simple error got the music back in their hands. The band was about to suffer the fate many acts do after being signed and ending up in the major label abyss. They explain “This EP only exists because we are lucky. If our old label sent us a simple release form for a cover we did while we were signed, we wouldn’t even have ownership of the songs. But as luck would have it, that clerical error allowed us to take on the label and get our songs back. Dropped Again is our defiant celebration, our own personal “f*ck you” to the idea of giving up and fighting tooth and nail to be ourselves. We decided to included to new tracks to give you a taste of what to come on our first full length coming 2018.”
