TELEVISION ACADEMY HOSTS WORDS + MUSIC CELEBRATING ORIGINAL SONGS AND SCORES IN TELEVISION’S TOP SHOWS

Under the musical direction of American Idol’s Rickey Minor, Words + Musicwill celebrate the importance of original songs and scores in television and will feature composers, performers and talent from some of television’s top shows: Empire, Mr. Robot, This Is Us, Narcos, Homeland, Fargo, The Night Of, The Americans and more. The event was conceived by Television Academy Music Governor Michael Levine. Six-time Emmy Award-winning composer and conductor Mark Watters will conduct several performances.
