In their decade plus as a band, Vinny Vegas, has built a well-earned reputation as a torchbearer in the world of thoughtful, experimental rock. Today, via a premiere with Play Too Much Music, the band has once again proven their capability to innovate with the release of “Lung Benders”, the first single off of their highly-anticipated new full-length out later this year. On “Lung Benders”, which is the first new music from Vinny Vegas in four years, the raw emotion of lead singer Scott Siskind’s voice shines through over a dynamic arrangements of percussion, guitars, synths, cello and keyboards. It shows a tremendous degree of growth from a band that has long been known for their progressive approach to atmospheric, hard-edged rock.
