Swedish vocal powerhouse Elias releases new track ‘Hope’

Rising Swedish star Elias has revealed the brand new track ‘Hope’, which will appear on his debut album set for release later this year via Warner Music. ‘Hope’ is a stunningly soulful pop number, showcasing his breathtaking vocal talent, beautiful harmonies and strong emotive songwriting skills.

It comes after the release of his recent single ‘Thinking Of You’, which was produced by long-time partner HYENA, and features the sweeping strings and singers from the Tensta Gospel Choir.

He also revealed a special live piano video of the track filmed in an abandoned tunnel in suburbs of Årsta, just outside of Stockholm, which you can watch HERE.

Elias first emerged with his 2015 debut single ‘Revolution’ where he quickly sparked attention from the likes of Noisey who described him as “a concoction of James Blake soulfulness and Bon Iver potential”, and i-D who prompted comparisons with FKA Twigs, Spooky Black, Anthony Hamilton and Sam Cooke as they praised his “gorgeously profound voice.”

He went on to release the likes of ‘Green Eyes’, which premiered with BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, and ‘Down N Out’ which was accompanied by a Swedish Grammy Award nominated video that also saw Elias perform live on the show.

There will be much more to explore when the album emerges, but Elias consistently writes with a passion for both internal turmoil and social issues.

Elias will also be performing two exclusive shows at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm on November 7th and 8th.
