PREMIERE: Sydney based DJ/producer Tenzin reworks Phoenix Melody’s debut single ‘Be The One’ as he puts his electro-house stamp on the pop/RnB original

Sydney based vocalist Phoenix Melody delivers a perfectly crafted slice of RnB/Pop with her debut single ‘Be The One’. The sundrenched chorus is complimented by a killer chart production from multi-platinum hit makers DBF Production and Tha Hitbangaz, as they merge afrobeats rhythms, deep bass stabs and razor sharp RnB vocal production.

Phoenix’s first brush with the pop world came when she starred in Australia’s X-Factor which culminated in a teary-eyed celebration as she reached the semi-finals. After taking a small step away from writing and performing the young singer always remained positive about her musical future and aims to reflect that side of her nature in her music. In a recent interview with Cliché mag, she explains;

“My music really reflects my personality. I’m laid-back, but also super outgoing. Overall, I’m all about finding that balance and enforcing positivity – Knowing yourself allows more room for positive thinking and less room for negative energy.”

Expect an official music video and remix package out soon, plus Phoenix’s first full EP chalked in for release later this year.

‘Be The One’ is out now on Spotify & iTunes
