Chuck Berry’s “Darlin'” Video Is a Nostalgic Father’s Day Tribute

Less than one week after the release of ‘CHUCK,’ the first album in 38 years from founding rock and roll legend Chuck Berry, comes the second-ever Chuck Berry music video for “Darlin’.” The song is a gentle, euphonic duet between Berry and his daughter, Ingrid, furthering the familial essence of a record that also features three generations of Berry guitarists (Chuck, Charles Berry Jr., and Charles Berry III). The video illustrates that lifelong father-daughter relationship through never-before-seen Berry family footage, home movies and photos.

This past Monday, Nathaniel Rateliff, Charles Berry Jr., Charles Berry III, and The Roots joined forces on Fallon to remember the legend.
