Weaving between minimalistic breakdownsconsisting of sporadic synths, vocal chops and the restless boomingbassline, and elevated intense drops, 5 & A Dime and PEEKABOO have utilized a plethora of percussion, trap-style trills and scratch-style synths in ‘Make Em Bounce’ to create maximum dramatic effect. A new direction in the bass music realm for the budding producer, whose previous releases were predominantly in the dubstep or bass house genres, 5 & A Dime comments on how the track came to light:

“It was a super fun time with PEEKABOO collaborating on Make ‘Em Bounce – and it came together so quickly, the track just flowed together in no time! We set out with a goal to blend both our heavy, aggressive sounds while also pushing the envelope further to something neither of us have made before. The distorted 808 was a turning point in the production process and after putting that in the drop everything else came together perfectly.”
