DeeDee Foster is more than just an artist, she’s an experience.
Following the extensive success of her debut self titled EP, DeeDee is now back with her next single and video ‘Go That Way’ ahead of her first full length LP ‘The Light’.
Based in Los Angeles but a native of Cincinnati Ohio, DeeDee lives and breathes music with a musical talent that runs deep embedded her veins. Undaunted by Hollywood, DeeDee followed her passion and moved to LA in pursuit of a professional singing career where she has been busy writing, recording, and producing over the last year.
Her expressive voice and impassioned heart felt live performances have captivated audiences from all around the world. Her sound is a mix of indie pop & rock infused with a contemporary R&B, gospel and soul feel. With influences from Sade to Sheryl Crow her music conveys real stories, feelings, and also projects a natural and authentic unique style. A journey of healing and inspiration which is much needed in today’s society!
The video for ‘Go That Way’ showcases this in the way DeeDee’s heart had intended when writing the song. It projects something with a fun up tempo feel which is playful and light whilst passing back an inspirational message from her, and filmed on the backdrop of the gleaming LA sunshine.
The song simply says, “Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry, we always ask questions why, everything can change on the dime in only a moments time, but at the end of the day it’s just supposed to go that way.”
DeeDee said “Be encouraged and try to see the silver lining in every cloud, not because it’s easy, but just because, who wants to live a sad life… not me”.
Her phenomenal repertoire of extensive touring and live performances speaks for itself, having shared the stage with the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, Anastacia, Celine Dion, Chistina Alguilera, Stevie Wonder, and Boy George & Culture Club to name a few….
