Tom Walker Releases ‘Heartland’ (Prod. Naughty Boy)

Co-written and produced by Naughty Boy (Sam Smith, Emlie Sandé), ‘Heartland’ follows on from Tom’s hugely successful debut EP ‘Blessings’. The track is being featured tonight on BBC Radio 1 Xtra as Mista Jam’s ‘Jam Hot’, this latest release marks a real statement of intent from one of the newcomers taking 2017 by storm. Listen here

With it’s gravel-flecked vocals and vivid lyrics ‘Heartland’, says Tom, “is about temptation getting the better of you. It’s about life’s hangover, where you wake up the next morning and realise things haven’t turned out as expected and the price you pay. Happens to the best of us.” – another reflection of Tom’s natural humility and reliability that is an ever-present throughout Tom’s work.
