ÁSGEIR ANNOUNCES NORTH AMERICAN FALL HEADLINE TOUR

Icelandic singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ásgeir has confirmed a full headline fall tour with dates kicking off September 6 in Vancouver and continuing through October 4 in Seattle. In support of his latest album Afterglow, released this past May, Ásgeir will make stops across North America including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. In addition, the musician will perform at Austin City Limits Festival on October 7.

Tickets will be available for pre-sale in select cities on Thursday, June 15 at 10AM local time, visit https://www.asgeirmusic.com/live for more details. Following the pre-sale, all tickets will be available to purchase on Friday, June 16. See a full list of dates below.

Ásgeir’s sophomore album, Afterglow is out now and has received praise from Rolling Stone, NPR, Under The Radar and more. The album leaves behind the folk-tinged acoustics of the singer’s debut album, In The Silence, and dives into melancholic electronica in its purest form. Ásgeir balances icy electronic shades of Bon Iver, James Blake and Anohni with soul, R&B, and gospel influences on these new songs.
