YFS Release ‘Regular’ Feat Cadet

If you haven’t yet heard of YFS then you’re about to, in a BIG way. The young Afrobeats duo form one of the most exciting afrobeats duo’s in the country and have been the under current of the scene for the past year cultivating a cult following of fans. Known to the world as EsDee (Don Dada) and Hakeem (Big Hak) or better yet YFS – Hakeem Badru and Samuel Dada are most definitely one of the pioneering collective’s in today’s UK Afrobeats music scene, bringing you consistent, party ready summer hits even in the winter months. YFS are more than ready to leave their stamp as British Afrobeats Ones To Watch.

With a string of releases under their belt accumulating hundred’s of thousands of hits online and after putting out their debut EP ‘One Life’, YFS are back to set the summer off with another anthem. Having already worked with the likes of Wizkid, Maleek Berry, Burna Boy, Iyanya, 2Kriss, Olamide, Kojo Funds, SK, Sona, MoeLogo, Kwamz and Flava alongside getting co-signs from industry big hitters in the Afrobeats scene, it’s fair to say YFS are creating some serious waves online.

Offline YFS aren’t shy of a few fans either with the duo following up their recent EP with their first sold out headline show at the Camden Assembly. No strangers to the stage with one half of YFS Esdee having performed throughout Nigeria at the age of just 17 followed up with by a support slot at the Hammersmith Apollo on the Wizkid UK Tour in 2012, YFS are naturals when it comes to performing. Garnering recognition and acclaim from bother the UK scene and the African scene, YFS are primed and ready to set the summer off.
