The MILLIONS line up features Dom Haddad (vocals) and Campbell Smith (bass) together with siblings Ted and Louis Tilbrook on guitar and drums respectively and whose father is Glenn Tilbrook; the founding member and lead singer of legendary new wave band Squeeze.
Taking influence and inspiration from the likes of early Adam & The Ants, Led Zeppelin, Tyrannosaurus Rex and Pavement, the band were originally formed in Brisbane, Australia nearly three years ago. The toured extensively over there, where their melodic twist on garage punk saw them enjoying some success with a couple of low-key releases that attracted the attention of the public and critics alike and saw them pick up heavy radio play on the triple J station.
They’ve since relocated to London and Well Suspect Records offered the group a record deal after seeing them perform in a pub in Greenwich late last year. One of the most exciting live prospects around right now, MILLIONS will have announced that they will play The Joy Festival in Kent on the 17th of June 2017. More UK dates will be announced to coincide with the release of the band’s debut album later this year.
