KANIVA Releases New Music Video For ‘Best Friend’

Following on from last years highly acclaimed debut EP ‘Homeless’, Kaniva is back with his 2017 twist on a 50 Cent classic. Best Friend sees the South London MC in his element with his laid-back yet charismatic word play and innate storytelling ability at it’s finest. Emphasising his ease when sitting on a diverse variety of beats and styles Best Friend showcases Kaniva’s versatility and confidence as he drops his first visual of the year. Watch here

Hot off the back of last years EP release of Homeless which reached No13 in the UK Hip Hop Charts (the same week that Skepta release Konnichiwa) an impressive feat for a debut from an independent artist, Kaniva is back to feed the fans with more material heading into the summer season. With his highly anticipated Home EP dropping soon you can be sure to see a lot more of the South Londoner in the coming months.

The 23-year-old Rapper/Songwriter has been recognised for his ability to paint a picture based on personal experiences, often bringing a relatability factor that hits home with many of his core audience. Over the past few years Kaniva has been building a buzz through his catalogue of on stage performances, radio appearances & features on popular homegrown Youtube platforms.

Having opened for both French Montana and Snoop Dogg at the O2Indigo, supporting OG Maco on his world tour UK leg, performed at the Roundhouse Rising Festival as well as Big Narstie’s BDL Tour and iLuvLive Kaniva is ready and prepped to take it to the next level this year. The MC is back to set the pace and showcase his plethora of talents when it comes to the tracks so expect a flurry of new heat from the MC.
