DOMINIQUE STAR RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE “UNITED”

LA-based singer and producer Dominique Star has just released her shimmering debut single “United.” Her forthcoming EP Arcana will be released on June 9th and is mixed by Matt Lawrence (Laura Marling, Adele, Emile Sande).

In a recent interview with Fame Magazine she described the reflective track: “there are two sides to the song, a more personal one, and a global, what the hell are we doing to each other kind of sense.

The Mika-approved singer describes her music as sorceress-punk: at times delicate, floral, airy, at times frenetic and feral. She lived in New York for several years as she attended Columbia University to study French, but didn’t get started performing her own music until studying abroad for a year in France.

After several years of writing and traveling, Dominique found her sound by learning how to produce her own music.
