NODAYZOFF. That’s the mantra of George “Hookz” Yungo- known to most as Big Hookz- who is a rapper, producer, and entrepreneur of the music industry. Big Hookz grew up in Hamburg, Germany, where he started StrTeam Entertainment, a global music and entertainment company. Just a few months later, in late 2000, he moved to the United States on a mission to become one of the best ever.
Last fall, his single “Make A Milli” reached over 3.5 million impressions on iHeart Radio and was played on radio stations all over the country, like FM105.1 (NY), WPGC FM 95.5 (DMV), and FM103 (Miami-Fort Lauderdale). Upon the release of the follow-up single, “Pull Out Cash”, Big Hookz told ThisIs50, “I love the rap game, and understood from early on, it’s a business, you got to stay focus, strategize, stay humble, and when the moment is right you will know it, my moment is here, and now.”
With the “Pull Out Cash” music video, right here and right now is Big Hookz’s moment. The video stars his son Jayshawn JR, who rolls up on a tricycle in a helmet and sunglasses- looking fly as his daddy- and finds a wad of cash. Big Hookz sits on a throne, while a stripper dances for him. His lady back home is on the phone, upset that he’s not there, but he’s just enjoying the bling and the life of luxury in New York City. While Kevin Gates features on the song, he doesn’t make an appearance in the video itself due to some “unforeseen circumstances”. “Pull Out Cash” was shot by Aim & Shoot and directed by Max Mazzim and Big Hookz, and the track will be a part of Big Hookz’s next album NS4L (Never Settle For Less).
