Born & raised in West London, half English/ Jamaican dancehall artist and producer Culan introduces his first official release ‘Easy to Love You’. It’s already racked up over 250K streams on Spotify, cementing the serious buzz around the young UK artist. Watch here
Growing up in a musical family, his uncles built a fierce reputation on the UK sound system circuit; Culan would follow in their footsteps from the age of 16, going on to work with some of the genre’s heavyweights in Beenie Man and Gappy Ranks as well as vocal work on Wretch 32’s single ‘All a Dream’.
He really started making headlines however when he refixed Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’ into Dancehall format and immediately started picking up viral support. Now with this first release, Culan is showing why he’s a real one to watch for this year.
