Having enlisted the help of Selena Gomez earlier this year for his ground-breaking ‘It Ain’t Me’ collaboration, which as of writing has racked up over 500 million streams combined worldwide, Kygo’s latest hit once again sees the Norwegian teaming up with a superstar female, this time in the form of GRAMMY® nominated, multi-platinum singer/songwriter Ellie Goulding.

Teased earlier this week, ‘First Time’ sees Kygo’s melodic grooves pair effortlessly with Goulding’s enchanting vocals, as the two perfectly encapsulate everything that a summer hit should be into three minutes of bliss.

The collaboration also marks the ‘First Time’ Goulding has teamed with an act since featuring on music with Calvin Harris back in 2014, and is no doubt yet another indicator of Kygo’s ever-growing influence on the electronic and pop music world.

Hot off the back of a surprise performance at Ultra Music Festival in which he teased two IDs to a sold-out crowd, and having released the official video for ‘It Ain’t Me’ earlier this week, it’s clearer than ever that Kygo is gearing up for yet another enormous year in 2017. As he prepares to surprise his fans with even more new music over the coming months, be sure to stay tuned to all things Kygo at the below links.
