BENTLEY JONES POSES NAKED FOR COVER OF MOST PROVOCATIVE ALBUM EVER
UK producer-artist Bentley Jones has never shied away from being unconventional. After choosing to debut in Japan rather than his native land, he’s accrued over 6.2 million global sales and remixed the likes of Taylor Swift, Madonna, Adele, Calvin Harris, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga who also follows him on Twitter.
Yet eyebrows may still raise over the audacious redhead having to pose completely naked for his latest album cover. After a tumultuous 2016 and taking an understandable hiatus from music, Bentley will soon release his new album “Unravelling” which beautifully and brutally addresses each of his personal struggles in a dark and delicious electro-pop form. And to set the tone he has managed to create incredible digital composite artwork for which he had to pose completely naked.
“There was no other way around it,” explains Bentley. “To achieve the effect of my clothes ‘unravelling’ we shot the same poses twice – one fully clothed and one completely naked. The naked image was layered underneath so that when the clothes on the top layer were digitally ‘unravelled’ you can see my naked body beneath.”
Last year Bentley experienced the death of his father, major joint surgery and moving house all within the space of a few months. Bentley’s physical presence on this album cover is not only impressive and stunning, but a testament to his resilience as a human being and his dedication to his craft. And we’re certain his fans won’t be complaining either.
“Unravelling” release date is expected to be announced soon.
