My Life On Film Unleash “Need To Know” Visuals

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Bayside and Jimmy Eat World, My Life On Film are making a name for themselves with their bold new tunes. The alternative rock band has played countless shows since releasing their EP 1 in 2015, and the group is continually stepping things up for 2017. The quartet has a lot in the works, but they’re starting with rad visuals for their jam “Need To Know.” With an opening guitar riff that would make their musical predecessors proud and dueling vocals bound to grab listeners’ attention, “Need To Know” is an excellent look at what this band has to offer.

When asked about the video, My Life On Film’s Sean Johnson shares, “The video is something I’ve always wanted to do. I came up with the idea one day when I was changing light bulbs in the Church that I work for. I looked down at the compass rose in the floor and though “That would be an awesome place to do a raw, rocky video.  When we wrote the EP, we wanted to have a song that showed a little more maturity with our song writing as well as sound, as opposed to our previous releases, and “Need To Know” has really set the tone for the sound of our future.”
