PETER MURPHY’s 15-Show Residency in San Francisco Postponed Due to Vocal Cord Ailment

Peter Murphy, (((folkYEAH!))) Presents and The Chapel today announced that the Peter Murphy residency, previously scheduled for June and July, will be postponed to late January and early February due to a serious issue to his vocal cords. The artist has also announced two very special nights of Mr. Moonlight (Bauhaus Classics) on February 14th and 15th. Tickets for these shows will go on sale Friday, April 28th, 2017.

After a routine check up, doctors discovered nodules on Peter’s vocal cords for which he will be undergoing treatment followed by an extended period of recovery before attempting to use his voice again. Murphy recorded a message to all his fans explaining the circumstances, which can be seen here.
