Rising Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter/producer SHEARE has unveiled his new brooding track “R I P” today – LISTEN HERE via PopCrush. The third song from his forthcoming EP TURBULENCE (out May 12) features moody vocals detailing the process of over-thinking what transpired in a breakup after all is said and done. SHEARE is also thrilled to announce that he will bring his energetic live show to LA for a performance at The Bootleg on May 24 supporting indie singer/songwriter Monogem. SHEARE (Brandon Sheer) wrote, recorded and produced the five songs on TURBULENCE in his home studio during a dark and cold January. In what he calls the “Post-Holiday Blues” period, he locked himself in his apartment, and created the songs in a matter of weeks. Thematically, the EP explores the experience of a long-term relationship ending, and running away from those feelings of loss until they inevitably catch up with you. The process of creating the songs was a catharsis for SHEARE – releasing all of the hidden feelings from the relationship and confronting them, and the end result is a collection with a darker tone from his sun-soaked 2016 singles.
