Canadian Country Artist Andrew Hyatt Announces May 19TH Release Date For Debut Full-Length Album “Iron and Ashes”

Canadian country artist Andrew Hyatt is pleased to announce the release of his debut full-length album “Iron and Ashes”, available everywhere May 19th via Wax Records/Universal Music Canada. Hailing from Sudbury, ON, Hyatt spent years working as an ironworker at a nickel mine before deciding to pursue his true passion with music, and the result is an album filled with thoughtful, contemplative lyricism, peppered with country rock riffs and smoky vocals.

Produced by Matt Rovey (Dean Brody), Dave Thompson (Autumn Hill), and Derek Hoffman (The Elwins) and recorded in Nashville and Toronto, Hyatt wrote and/or co-wrote 11 of the  twelve tracks on “Iron and Ashes”.

“I don’t take a moment of making music for granted,” shares Hyatt. “And, I can’t wait to give you this new record with #allthefeels.”

She Ain’t You”, released digitally on April 7th, is a raw and brutal tale of a futile romance and the feelings that follow. A master conjurer, Hyatt’s artistry shines during his live performance of the lead track – a presentation that is both heartbreaking and lyrically devastating. Hyatt is set to play the mainstage at this year’s Boots and Hearts Music Festival and will preview his set tonight for those in Toronto when he joins 2017 Grammy Awards’ Artist of Tomorrow Drake White as direct support at the “Hot Shots Showcase” during the 35th annual Canadian Music Week Festival.
