Turtlenecked Releases New Single

Turtlenecked are back with their upcoming LP for Good Cheer Records (“Vultures” set to be released on 6/15). Listen “Meeting You In The Hospital” here

21 year old, Harrison Smith (aka Turtlenecked), has created a beautiful art punk album with “Vulture”. Harrison writes, performs, records, and produces everything on his records, and he’s soon to be taking his live show on the road (APA picked up the band and is working on a tour for them to fall around release date). He graduated from recording his last album in his dorm room (“Vultures” was recorded by Smith in his living room). The album is an ambitious, compassionate work of post punk baroque and roll that further asserts Portland ORE’s Turtlenecked as an ever growing entity, one very much deserving of attention. His music has gotten comparisons to bands like the Smiths, Say Anything, the Strokes, Wire, Gang of Four, and more.
