Jonathan Rado Announces Full Album Cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Born To Run” Via Turntable Kitchen’s Sounds Delicious

Turntable Kitchen’s SOUNDS DELICIOUS subscription series is thrilled to announce their second release, Jonathan Rado of Foxygen’s full album cover of Bruce Springsteen’s acclaimed 1975 classic Born To Run. The album will be available exclusively on vinyl with original artwork (shown below), limited to 1000 copies, on May 12. Pre-orders are available now, and today, via Pitchfork, you can hear Rado’s version of the single “Thunder Road.”

SOUNDS DELICIOUS is a first-of-its-kind monthly vinyl subscription service. SOUNDS DELICIOUS will offer full-length cover albums – exclusively featuring music not available anywhere else – on limited edition vinyl.

Participating artists were asked to choose any full-length album they love and reimagine it from front to back. SOUNDS DELICIOUS will produce the recordings on limited edition vinyl packaged in beautifully designed jackets and exclusively release them to members of its subscription service every month.

Also coming in 2017 from SOUNDS DELICIOUS:

  • Ben Gibbard covering Teenage Fanclub’s Bandwagonesque

  • The Pains of Being Pure at Heart with Kristin Kontrol & members of Titus Andronicus covering Tom Petty’s Full Moon Fever

  • Ava Luna covering Serge Gainsbourg’s Histoire de Melody Nelson

  • A special collaboration featuring Local Natives, Chris Chu (POP ETC), Evan Voytas, Andy Breihan (Guards/SACCO), and other TBA special guests covering Dennis Wilson’s Pacific Ocean Blue

  • Many more to come!

Exclusive recordings. Rare vinyl. Every month.
