Singer-songwriter Reilly is thrilled to be releasing her debut EP today via CEN/RED Distribution, a division of Sony Music. The EP features five original songs and a cover of The White Stripes “My Doorbell” recorded with noted producer/musician Rich Andruska taking control of the board.
Although her pop sensibility is steady throughout the EP, some tracks have an authentic rock n’ roll vibe, none more so then Wild Side. With its rocking beat, the song will have the listener singing along to the catchy chorus. The opener Find My Way tells an inspiring story of not giving up, backed by a soulful beat. The constant throughout the EP is that Reilly’s voice shines.
On her debut, Reilly blends strong grooves, driving beats and modern sounds as she proves herself equally adept at belting out full-throttle, female empowering songs as she does crooning arena-sized ballads. There’s always a place in this world for a well-executed, hooky, and fun pop record sung by a girl with a great voice, and this is one of them. Throughout the songs on the EP you take a trip with the newcomer and she shows you the softer side of her persona that contrasts nicely with her obvious spunkiness.
Look for the premiere of her video for the song Wild Side next week.
