Jaymes Young returns with alternative R&B tinged single “Stoned On You”

Jaymes Young fires back with his latest alternative R&B-tinged anthem “Stoned On You.” Over a buoyant and sparse synth-driven arrangement, the crooner’s falsetto takes the reigns, as he coos about over-indulging on a new love: “I’m gone with the wind, high like a feather, your love is like codeine.” And by the track’s glistening bridge, he’s nearing full on inebriation, as he navigates the ins and outs of his paramour’s body, slurring “my fingertips on your lips / my racing hands down your hips.”

Written and self-produced by Young, the euphoric earworm follows an array of successful pop crossover collaborations with the likes of Phoebe Ryan and ZHU as well as dates supporting Vance Joy and London Grammar.
