New York indie-pop collective MisterWives have revealed an epic Mad Max-style video for their new single and anti-establishment anthem ‘Machine’. WATCH HERE
Speaking to Billboard regarding the video the band say, “The ‘Machine’ music video exists in a post-apocalyptic world where colour and freedom to be one’s true self are prohibited. The visuals worked hand in hand with the distorted grungy and heavy tones and brought forth a very Mad MisterWives wasteland that we hope you enjoy.”
‘Machine’ is the lead single taken from their forthcoming new album Connect The Dots, due for release on May 19th through Virgin/EMI. It launched with international support on Spotify, featuring in the ‘New Music Friday’ playlists across 12 countries, reaching No.11 in the US Viral Chart, No.32 globally and has clocked up almost 4 MILLION plays, along with instant critical praise.
MisterWives are currently debuting new music from the forthcoming album on an extensive 34-date North American tour in support of Panic! At The Disco.
