Platinum-selling Swedish star Måns Zelmerlöw has announced his new single ‘Hanging On To Nothing’. The song is the latest to be taken from his recently released new album Chameleon, out now through Warner Music.
‘Hanging On To Nothing’ is an upbeat love song bursting with pop brilliance. Its huge choruses and driving rhythm is bolstered by bright horns and euphoric synths. Already a hit across Europe, ‘Hanging On To Nothing’ has achieved gold certification in Poland alongside major radio play in the likes of France, Sweden and more. The track has clocked up 2 MILLION plays on Spotify.
The new single is taken from Zelmerlöw’s latest album Chameleon, released in December last year. It is his fifth Top 10 album in Sweden and debuted at No.6 in the Swedish charts. Recorded in parts at Peter Gabriel’s Real World studios near Bath, the album is packed full of huge pop hits. ‘Hanging On To Nothing’ follows the release of ‘Glorious’, which spent 10 weeks in the Swedish Top 50, and its video has had well over half a MILLION views.
Claiming his first Swedish No.1 in 2007, Zelmerlöw has since blossomed into an internationally renowned name following his win at Eurovision 2015 where he led Sweden to victory with his song ‘Heroes’. The following year he co-presented the competition and once again performed the hit on the show.
Zelmerlöw will visit London as part of an eight-date European headline tour in support of the album, which will see him play Islington Academy on April 20th. Full tour dates can be found below:
