On the heels of her debut Hello Gigi Rowe EP which garnered acclaim from the likes of NYLON, Galore, and Ladygunn, Miami-based starlet Gigi Rowe shares her new single Cover Me Upwith Popdust today. Best known for her unique blend of energetic, shimmering dance-pop, the stripped-down, emotional track gives fans a look at a never-before-seen side of Gigi. The minimal instrumental accompaniment shines a spotlight on her harmonic voice and sincere narrative. She comments:

“Sometimes we all need somebody to hold on to. And there are other times when we’re looking to be taken care of. And it’s all okay. There’s a real strength in that. This is the essence of ‘Cover Me Up’. Can’t wait to share this song with my fans.”

Gigi Rowe is perhaps best known for her 2016 breakout single “Run The Night” which was selected to feature in Ubisoft’s global video game franchise Just Dance 2017 alongside massive hits from artists such as Major Lazer, Justin Bieber, Sia, and more. Irresistible upon impact, the track enticed everyone from homegrown fans to singer/Kanye West “Fade” dancer Teyana Taylor to dance to its levitating beat.

As Gigi gears up for a number of exciting releases in 2017, fans can catch her kinetic live energy at the Miami Beach Gay Pride Festival on April 9th. The festival has grown into one of Miami Beach’s most popular and highly anticipated events, with over 130,000 attendees in 2016. Gigi’s performance solidifies her path to success this year, and is just the beginning, with much more to come from this lively pop goddess. Stay tuned!
