Mags Duval Releases “Cinnamon Gum”

Today, 19-year-old singer/songwriter, Mags Duval, released her second single, “Cinnamon Gum” via Just Jared Jr. LISTEN HERE. Moody and vivid, Cinnamon Gum” relishes in being hung up on the wrong someone. The track is featured in Spotify’s New Music Friday Playlist.

Originally hailing from Clearwater, Florida, Mags began to show her passion for music at a young age. She chased her dreams all the way to Nashville in 2012, where she signed with music company, Creative Nation and began working with co-producers, Grammy Award winner Luke Laird (Kacey Musgraves, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Little Big Town), John Hill (Eminem, Shakira, Phantogram, P!nk, Jay Z), and Stint (Banks, AlunaGeorge, Gallant).

Last month, Mags Duval premiered the video to her debut track, “Stay Lonely” – CLICK HERE to watch. Mags Duval’s music defies easy categorization –  it’s a unique mix of pop, smart storytelling layered over hooks that nod to 90’s hip hop and iconic 50’s girl-group harmonies, all from an empowered female perspective.

On working with Mags, co-producer Luke Laird said, “Every producer dreams of working with an artist like Mags. Her music has that hard to find quality of being hooky with depth. She is a prolific lyricist and incredible vocalist who writes songs for her generation, but they have a timeless, relatable quality. I get an education every time we work together.”

Now, at just 19, Mags is ready to introduce the world to her distinct voice and honest lyrics.
