INTERVIEW: The New Electric’s Indy McKearney

Q: Hi guys, welcome back to VENTS! How have you been?

A: We have been busy and we are loving it. Taking it all in, so to speak!

Q: So how are you preparing for your upcoming tour?

A: All I can say, without too many spoilers, is that we are hard at work to make this tour incredibly memorable for our existing fans and new comers to the TNE family!

Q: Anything you are looking forward the most?

A: Adam and I always go to a place called “Let’s Be Frank” when in Toronto and eat hotdogs and drink cider. As far as the shows go, I am just happy when I’m out there touring.

Q: As a nationwide tour, are you planning to change the set or make anything unique between venues?

A: We may or may not have a few tricks up our sleeves! This tour will be completely different than the Nick Carter tour. I guess you’d have to catch a show in two different venues to really find out!

Q: How did you get connecting with Courage My Love happen?

A: We really love what those cats have been up to! Our team brought the idea of a co-headline tour to the table and we were all stoked on it!

Q: Any plans to do some live collaboration?

A: That would be sick! Good idea! Now, there may very well be….

Q: You are working on new stuff – so can fans expect some new material to be played on this tour?

A: Oh yeah. There will be new music revealed on this tour!

Q: How’s your new music coming along?

A: I am stoked on it. Get ready!

Q: Any tentative release date or title in mind?

A: I’m the bass player! Date? Title? They don’t tell me this stuff. 😉

Q: What else is happening next in The New Electric’s world?

A: Lots of possibilities in our future, but I can’t be certain as to which avenue we will decide upon!
