Hi George, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

Hi, I am doing very well. Thank you for the support.

Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Good Bad Innocent”?

Absolutely. My new single off the latest record.

Did any event in particular inspire you to write this song?

The basis for GOOD BAD INNOCENT was the times I had with a few of my best friends back in my hometown of Rahway, NJ, the friends that stay by your side through everything. Even to this day, my friends Charlie and Jimmie support me and the dreams I now call my career.

Any plans to release a music video for the single?

Video has already been released on you tube and has 33,000 views and climbing.

The single comes off your new album Believe – what’s the story behind the title?

The title BELIEVE is self explanatory and taken from one of the tunes on the record. In this day and age, you just need to believe in a better world, a happy and productive world. People are too easily drawn to the negatives of our society. I strive to give a more positive message.

How was the recording and writing process?

My writing and recording process is a straight and simple one. I write all my songs in raw acoustic form. I bring a completed acoustic version to my producer, Steve Brown. We lay down a base track and build from there.

What was it like to work with Steve Brown and how did that relationship develop?

Steve has been a friend for a long time so having him as my producer was an easy choice. Steve simply knows my vision so the whole process flows very easily in the studio.

How much did he influence the album?

Not anymore than any other producer would. He knows his craft and he pulls the best out of me.

What classic bands play a role on this record?

All my influences play a big part in all my recordings. My influences range from Elton John to Steven Tyler to Marc Bolin up to Jon Bonjovi, Bret Michaels and so many more… I just love melodic rock music of all kinds.

Where did you find the inspiration for the songs and lyrics?

All the songs on this record where inspired by a collective of things and people in my life.

Any plans to hit the road?

Definitely, Jaded Past will be doing shows all over the United States through 2017 and hopefully Europe in 2018 with my amazing live line-up of Myself, Scott and Rob LaFlamme and Jason Cornwell. . Perhaps some guests along the way.

What else is happening next in Jaded Past’s world?

Promote and support the record “BELIEVE” and Begin work on the next record (perhaps a 2018 release). Please visit the Jaded Past website at
