Hi Farrah, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

Hello! I have been well, thank you!

Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Be Here”?

My latest single “Be Here” is special to me because I’ve always been a very sentimental person, and I occasionally find myself trying to answer “what if’s.” An example from the song is “when the air we breathe is starting to freeze and my hands turn to ice, would you still be here?” It’s definitely a song you could jam out to with your friends or even sing alone as you sit and just chill.

Did any event in particular inspire you to write this song?

My mindset changed as I started to see outcomes from my music, and I wondered what would happen in the future. I got a chance to really sing about a special guy in my life. 🙂

Any plans to release a video for the single?

Yes! The music video will be released soon, and I’m really excited to share it with everyone!

The single comes off your new album Farrah Please – what’s the story behind the title?

It’s like my spin on a self titled album. There is actually a unique song on it called Farrah Please that’s insane. You all will love it! 🙂

How was the recording and writing process?

The writing and recording process was very fun. I learned a lot from Shy Boogs about writing styles and I learned about production technique from Peoples.

What was it like to work with Peoples Garcia and how did that relationship develop?

It was really exciting because I’m a fan of Fetty Wap, and I think it’s so amazing that he got to work with him so early on, he’s such an inspirational guy to me and it was great to work with him.

How much did he influence the album?

“Be Here” definitely gives my album a fun pop flavor. My sister Tamara, who is a songwriter, Peoples, and I got back in the studio last month and started working on a new song that will hopefully be on my upcoming album!

What aspect of your life did you get to explore on this record?

I got to learn more about myself as a person, and I saw myself grow in the studio while I was thinking and writing about my life stories.

Any plans to hit the road?

It’s a secret 😉

What else is happening next in Farrah’s world?

After the video release for “Be Here”, you should expect new music and some exciting news!
