PREMIERE: The Dollyrots Release New Music Video For “Babbling Idiot”

VENTS alumnis The Dollyrots are back on the website for an exclusive premiere of their lyric/music video for “Babbling Idiot”. The clip is as fun as you can expect from an upbeat and straight-in-your-face song as this one, it screams 90s Punk Rock music (think Blink 182) everywhere with the aesthetic and sound.

Punk rock duo the Dollyrots are set to release their sixth studio album Whiplash Splash, this Friday, March 24. The album will be available on CD, limited-edition aqua-blue vinyl, and digitally on their very own Arrested Youth Label with distribution via MVD Entertainment Group.

Whiplash Splash is focused, sharp and completely fan-funded. That said, a raw vitality courses through each track. With production by the band and longtime Producer John Fields [All Time Low, Jimmy Eat World, Busted] The Dollyrots’ signature spirit shines through in melodic guitar riffs, irresistible hooks, and punked-out woah-ohs & percussion.

The band’s 2016 live album/DVD Family Vacation: Live in Los Angeles debuted at #15 on Billboard’s Heatseekers album chart and Barefoot And Pregnant garnered their first chart appearance peaking at #7 on Billboard‘s Heatseekers. Both chart appearances were preceded by highly successful crowdsourcing campaigns through PledgeMusic. This followed the group’s 2012’s self-titled LP, two albums on Joan Jett’s Blackheart Records, and a 2004 debut through the venerable Lookout!/Panic Button Records.
