Coming off the back of an extremely hot debut is Gramercy’s hypnotic new single, ‘Sparks’ featuring Sharna Bass. This is the second release from the NYC based producer who’s first single, ‘Changes’ which was released last November garnered support from dance music heavyweights Pete Tong, David Guetta, Martin Garrix and more. Both records are out on iconic dance label Armada who have championed Gramercy’s budding career. Stream ‘Sparks’ Here
On ‘Sparks’ Gramercy continues to highlight his range and skill in the studio as well as providing us with his signature warm and belting horns. Unlike ‘Changes’ this new single is accompanied by the soulful smooth vocals of Sharna Bass; singer and feature on Clean Bandit’s ‘Extraordinary’. The result is a club ready track that will also find room to breathe in more crossover spaces. With a strong follow up release to ‘Changes’ we are sure that 2017 will prove to be an impactful year for Gramercy.
Classically trained, and incredibly detailed, Gramercy is the alias of New York based producer and DJ, Justin Davey. Over the last few years Justin has produced records for chart toppers such as Nicki Minaj, David Guetta, and Jason Derulo among many others. With his new endeavor, Gramercy hopes at creating dark, brooding dance music with pop influence. This is displayed in his first single ‘Changes’, which has been supported by radio veterans Pete Tong and Danny Howard as well as superstar DJs Don Diablo and Martin Garrix. The debut release surpassed 1.5 million plays on Spotify and in his less-than-a-year-old artist career, he has also landed remixes for Empire of the Sun, Alessia Cara, and Seeb among others. With Gramercy’s forward thinking production and commitment to all areas of his brand he is bound to go far beyond the dance floor.
