Abel Raise the Cain at Stockton Calling

Abel Raise The Cain are an alternative indie Rock band from the Northeast. Their euphoric blend of indie rock/pop has seen them capture the hearts of North East music fans.

Emerging from an autumn in the studio the band release their brand new album For Strangers Only, as well as the lead single Every Rise. (Mar 31) The single has been selected for nationwide retail play in Australia from April.

Formed in 2012, they were brought together by a mutual respect for the same genres of music, Atmospheric/Epic/ Indie Soundscapes, influenced by such bands as Arcade Fire, Sigur Ros, The Editors, Abel Raise The Cain aspire to create & mould their own Epic sound to reach people in the same way .

They spend their time, creating wall of sound, Euphoric, indie rock/pop songs, the first two of which were released to widespread critical acclaim as part of a double “A” sided single named ‘Too Late -The Promise’. Both singles have received repeated airplay to date on radio stations across the U.K, including regular plays on BBC Introducing. Too Late has also been play listed on Brazilian National Radio & featured by channel 4 on a prime time television program.

Current album track ‘Black Swans’ garnered widespread critical acclaim for the video, which went straight to the top of the Beat 100 indie chart. The bands brand new single ‘Every Rise’, which now gets an official release was chosen as BBC Introducing’s track of the week and featured on the best of the BBC playlist last year.
