The 10th Annual Bridgetown Comedy Festival will be held May 4–7 in venues across Portland, OR, hosting comedy veterans from around the world as well as an impressive roster of up-and-coming performers. The four day festival will feature stand-up, improv, sketch, live podcasts, music and so much more. As a pre-festival special event, Bridgetown in partnership with Live Nation is proud to present the return of the standout act from the first year of the festival back in 2008: Patton Oswalt performing at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on May 2nd, with tickets on sale at portland5.com.

Four-day passes to the 10th Annual Bridgetown Comedy Festival are now on sale for the discounted price of $89 at bridgetown2017.eventbrite.com (does not include admission to Patton Oswalt’s show at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall).

  • The Jackie and Laurie Show – The Jackie and Laurie Show stars two women in comedy, Jackie Kashian and Laurie Kilmartin, talking about women and comedy. No guests, just two headliners who started in the 80s and never stopped.

  • The New Negroes with Baron Vaughn – Named for a term popularized during the Harlem Renaissance, Baron Vaughn hosts comedians departing from what you might think “Black” is supposed to be.

  • Jackie Kashian’s The Dork Forest podcast – Jackie Kashian discusses favorite obsessions with the obsessed on her popular long-running show.

  • Palindrome Fight – Top palindromist comedians, including host Mark Saltveit (the reigning World Palindrome Champion), will race to write reversible one-liners based on audience suggestions while “straight” comics do more traditional sets.

  • Can I Pet Your Dog? Podcast –  Maximum Fun Network’s comedy podcast about dogs, covering Dogs We Met This Week, Stupid Dog Tech, Dog News, Dog Heroes and much more.

  • A Good Trip with Shane Mauss – A comedy show about psychedelics that’s part standup, part storytelling and part TED Talk.

  • Brew Haha: The Comedy Show Drinking Game – One part comedy show, two parts drinking game, Brew Haha is a hilarious interactive mix of standup comedy and your favorite pre-party ritual.

  • Turnt Up with Eliza Skinner – Comedians face off in a series of one-on-one rap battles — totally freestyle, totally improvised.
