Club Drive release video for ‘Spare Time’ & added to the BBC Radio 1 playlist

British guitar-pop band, Club Drive, have unveiled the video for their brand new single ‘Spare Time’, which is out now on NUA Entertainment. WATCH HERE

‘Spare Time’ has just been added to the BBC Radio 1 playlist as the station’s Introducing track. This will see the song receive daytime spins from Radio 1’s biggest DJs, including Alice Levine, Dev, Clara Amfo, Greg James, Scott Mills and Adele Roberts – giving ‘Spare Time’ huge audience exposure.

Mirroring the song’s lyrical theme, the video reflects how people behave outside of their normal day-to-day life. Shot in southern Spain and following a group of friends on a weekend adventure, it features stunning cinematic imagery with heaps of sunshine – the perfect setting for Club Drive’s uplifting anthem.

‘Spare Time’ follows the 2016 release of their debut EP Dangerous and sees the band deliver their finest track to date. A massive pop song, it places them shoulder to shoulder with the songwriting prowess of pop rock artists such as One Republic, Maroon 5 and DNCE.

Already making a name for themselves across social media and with a fast-expanding – and very fervent – fanbase, this month sees the band take on their first national headline run, with their Birmingham date now officially sold out, following last year’s sold out shows in London,

As well as headline shows, Club Drive will also be making a number of festival appearances, including The Great Escape, Lovebox, Live At Leeds and a main stage slot at this year’s Standon Calling alongside Clean Bandit, Editors, Gary Numan, Laura Mvula and many more.
