LUCHA VAVOOM Return with Annual Two-Night Cinco De Mayo Engagement–“Sexy Fiesta”–As Part of Their 15th Anniversary Year

Who better than LUCHA VAVOOM to celebrate freedom, independence and diversity with this coming Cinco de Mayo?

LUCHA VaVOOM–now in its 15th anniversary year of delivering arguably the most electrifying shows on earth–return to The Mayan Theater in Downtown L.A. on Thursday, May 4 and Friday, May 5 with their annual two-night Cinco de Mayo spectacular. This year it’s billed as “Sexy Fiesta,” and LUCHA VAVOOM–celebrated for their mind-blowing mix of Mexican masked wrestling, burlesque and comedy–will amp up the intensity to a new level. Founded in Los Angeles by Rita D’Albert and Liz Fairbairn–two fearless pop culture visionaries who’ve been pivotal to the downtown Los Angeles renaissance–2017 marks a big milestone for LUCHA VaVOOM as they celebrate their 15th year. last year rated Lucha VaVOOM as the #1 burlesque show in the U.S. raving, “Lucha VaVOOM is a non-stop, action-packed scream-a-thon, where Mexican Masked wrestlers flip and fly…in-between matches, the finest, handpicked burlesque acts from around the world astound.” (11/18/2016)

The margarita madness of this year’s Cinco de Mayo show is set to feature a performance by Mexican Electro-punk wildman, SILVERIO and matches with Luchador favorites: Rey Escorpion, Laredo Kid, Rey Horus and Magno in addition to Crazy Chickens, Dr. Maldad, and Chupacabras, among others. Also, bringing the VaVOOM is aerialist Veronica Yune, L.A. Roller Girls, Hula Hoop master, Marawa The Amazing and much, much more!
