PREMIERE: Hunters Of The Alps Release New Lyric Video For “The Pace”

Following our pretty eclectic premiere week, we are heading south to Peru where we find our next act of the day, Hunters of the Alps. The band is back with their lyric video for their newest track “The Pace,” a somewhat minimalistic track at its core reminiscent of bands such as Bloc Party and Unknown Mortal Orchestra – the lyric video has this cool psychedelic vibe that match with the single’s sound.

The song comes off the band’s new EP Time (How To Love) (order here), about the record the band comments,

“We started this EP as an experiment and excuse to play together and it turned into a labour of love that saw us travel to South America and NY in order to fine tune the tracks. Each song has marked the different stages of our beginning and now we are ready to share it with everyone. This is the beginning.”

The band has shared the stage with artists such as Twin Shadow and Tanlines and was chosen to open for Unknown Mortal Orchestra last fall at Converse Rubber Tracks Live. They also played Miami’s House of Creatives music festival fall 2016 (headlined by The Flaming Lips, Crystal Castles, Cold War Kids).

Comprised of lead vocalist Mario Giancarlo Garibaldiguitarist Jorge Velásquez, and drummer Alex De Renzis (as well as a 4th member to form a live 4-piece), the band got it’s name as a reference to guerilla style citizens that lived in the Alps trying to unite Italy in the 1800s. Cacciatori delle Alpi is the Italian name.
